What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text records a website can place in a browser. Local storage is a related browser facility that can retain a setting on a device. This site uses local storage to remember the cookie-banner choice; rejecting optional analytics does not restrict the site.
Storage used
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
engine-nodecore-cookie-choice | Records “accepted” or “rejected” so the banner is not repeated | Until browser storage is cleared | Engine Nodecore |
At publication, we do not set analytics or advertising cookies. Selecting Accept records the preference but does not activate a third-party tracker. If optional analytics is introduced, this notice and consent behaviour will be updated before collection begins.
Essential and optional categories
Essential storage supports a requested function such as remembering the banner decision. Optional analytics could help understand aggregated page use, but it requires a clear choice and is not currently deployed. We do not use cross-site advertising cookies.
Managing storage
Use browser privacy settings to inspect, block or delete site data. Deleting the preference causes the banner to reappear. Blocking it does not affect navigation, forms or access to content, though the banner cannot remember a choice.
